Swift Current Rural RCMP: Seeking information about a suspicious adult male in Kyle, SK

On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at approximately 8 p.m., Swift Current Rural RCMP received a report of three female youth that were approached by a lone adult male in an SUV while walking down a street in Kyle, SK. The male asked them to step closer to the vehicle and offered to sell them marihuana.

Swift Current Rural RCMP is seeking any information which might assist in identifying the adult male. He is described as:

  • Early 20s
  • Blonde-reddish hair with a short stubble beard
  • Wearing rectangular glasses
  • Black Cabella’s brand t-shirt with a Canadian flag on the arm
  • Heavy set

At the time of the incident, the male was reported to be driving a small, silver SUV with Saskatchewan licence plates including 2KL.

At this time, there is not believed to be an immediate risk to public safety. However, Swift Current Rural RCMP would like to remind parents to discuss stranger safety, including the importance of reporting suspicious activity or persons to a trusted adult, with their children.
